Life happens. Fortunately, with proper treatment, many stains do come out of rugs. Our charge for stainwork is based on the amount of time it would take to work on the stain, however we do not charge for stains that don't come out.
Each job is priced on a stain to stain basis. For a stainwork estimate, let us work on a small sample of the stain and after viewing the results we can provide an estimate.
stain guard (preserve)
For rugs in stain prone areas such as dining rooms, we recommend "Preserve" which is a silicon based coating that acts like a stain guard. The formula is 100% child and pet safe after dry and provides a 10-minute window for stains to be picked up with minimal damages to your rug.
This can prove to be wonderful if wine or juice is spilled on an ivory rug and someone is there to pick it up right away. If you would like to have your rug stain guarded for peace of mind, ask for Preserve today! Keep in mind that the guard lasts for one year only and would need to be re-applied accordingly.
Moth Proof Bundles for Long Term Storage
If you are storing your rugs, we recommend you have them wrapped in a moth proof bundle which is guaranteed moth free for ten years if unopened. We recommend the rug to be cleaned if it has not been washed in the last two years. The rugs are sprayed on both sides with Repel® and double-wrapped in an air tight seal. Delicate rugs are wrapped on a pole ensuring a safe storage. If you would like to have your rugs stored with us, rug storage in our plant is available.
